Yes! Whitehaven Dental offers same-day emergency appointments for urgent dental issues like severe toothaches, broken teeth, and dental trauma. Call us at 613-828-3129 for immediate assistance. We understand dental emergencies do not happen on a schedule, which is why we prioritize getting you seen as quickly as possible.
We direct bill to most major insurance providers including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life (Great-West Life), Blue Cross, Desjardins Insurance, Green Shield Canada, and Equitable Life. We also proudly accept CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan) patients. We accept cash, debit (Interac), and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
We recommend bringing your child for their first dental visit by age 1 or within 6 months of their first tooth appearing. Early visits help establish good dental habits and allow us to monitor development. Our team is experienced with young patients and creates a fun, positive environment for children.
We are located at 2280 Carling Ave, Unit 2, Ottawa, ON K2B7G1, conveniently near Carlingwood Mall. We offer free parking and are easily accessible by OC Transpo. Our location serves patients from across Ottawa including Nepean, Kanata, Barrhaven, and surrounding areas.

A typical first appointment at our Ottawa dental clinic takes 60-90 minutes. This allows us time for a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays, discussion of your dental history and concerns, and to answer all your questions. We believe in thorough, unhurried care.

Our office hours are: Monday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. For dental emergencies outside of these hours, please call and leave a message.
Yes! We offer free parking for all patients directly at our clinic at 2280 Carling Ave. Our location is also easily accessible by OC Transpo public transit, making it convenient for patients coming from anywhere in Ottawa.
Yes, we offer direct billing to most major dental insurance providers, so you only pay the difference (if any) at the time of your visit. This makes dental care more accessible and removes the hassle of submitting claims yourself. Bring your insurance card to your appointment and we will take care of the rest.
